What is newBETA
Until now every ally and opponent in Kaldrith was a bot. Online co-op changes that for Horde: you and up to three friends can take the same party into the Ring of Ruins. Bots fill the remaining party slots, and each human plays a different hero.
It is a beta. Real connections vary, so you may hit a rough edge. If something breaks, tell us at privacy@kaldrith.com.
How it works
- Open Play with friends. Choose it in the main menu and enter a nickname.
- Create a room. You get a room code and an invite link, and you become the host.
- Share the link. Friends open it, pick a nickname and join. They can also type the code.
- Pick heroes. Every human picks a unique hero and presses ready.
- Fight. The host starts the match and you play Horde together.
Tip The host’s browser runs the match, so the host should be the player with the best connection. Keep the tab open and visible. If the host leaves, the match ends for everyone.
Good to know
- Horde only. Siege, War Orb, Deathmatch and the Campaign remain single-player for now.
- Up to four humans. Everyone else in the party is a bot.
- No accounts. Rooms use only your nickname and an anonymous guest ID stored in your browser. The relay keeps a room only while it is in use and deletes it shortly after it is empty. Read the details in the privacy policy.
Also in this update
- Crushing Blow. Horde champions and bosses now use a telegraphed attack. A thin circle creeps after a hero, slowly enough to outrun, then locks in place and fills up. The target sees a MOVE warning. Get out of the circle before it fills, because the hit is heavy. They pick healers first, so healers: keep moving.
- Arbalest: Piercing Shot is now an instant cast. It fires at once at your cursor, with no charge-up.
Help us improve it
Try a room with friends and tell us what went wrong: a failed join, lag, a stuck lobby. The more specific, the better. Write to privacy@kaldrith.com.
